What are Terrestrial Planets?

Terrestrial planets are rocky planets that have a solid surface. They are similar in size and composition to Earth. The most well-known terrestrial planets in our solar system are Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars.

Earth is the third planet from the Sun and the only known planet to support life.

Mars

Mars is known as the Red Planet and is the fourth planet from the Sun. It has the largest volcano and canyon in the solar system.
